TIPS

National Recreation Systems is excited to have been awarded a Cooperative Purchasing contract in the bleacher category through TIPS.

TIPS is an acronym for The Interlocal Purchasing System. TIPS is a national purchasing cooperative that offers access to competitively procured purchasing contracts to its members such as governmental agencies like public education organizations, higher education entities, and city or county governments. TIPS is housed at and managed by the Region 8 Education Service Center located in Pittsburg, Texas. 

National Recreation Systems is excited to be part of TIPS' network, and we look forward to delivering exceptional bleacher solutions to government, education, and nonprofit organizations through this partnership.

1.  Check Membership – Ensure your organization is a TIPS member. If not, sign up for free here.
2. Find NRS – Visit the TIPS website and locate National Recreation Systems under awarded vendors.
3. Request a Quote – Contact NRS, identify yourself as a TIPS member, and an NRS authorized reseller will provide a TIPS quote.
4. Prepare Your PO – Your purchase order from the NRS authorized reseller must include your TIPS member number and NRS's TIPS contract number 23080101.
5. Submit Your PO – Send your completed PO to the NRS authorized reseller for processing.

The Interlocal Purchasing System currently serves entities such as state and local governments and non-profit organizations, including but not limited to:

• K-12 school districts
• Charter Schools
• Colleges and Universities (State and Private)
• Cities/Municipalities
• Counties/Parishes
• State Agencies
• Emergency Services Districts
• Non-profit organization as defined by the Internal Revenue Service
• Other entities with legislated purchasing/bidding requirements
